On May 2nd, the streets of Los Trece transform into an open-air Derby celebration centered around a brand-new dance floor in the heart of town. The space is reimagined for the evening — styled, staged, and designed to feel like you’ve stepped into our own version of Churchill Downs.
And just beyond the main street, a newly constructed private VIP corral, The Villa, will be unveiled for the first time — a hidden extension of the experience revealed only on Derby day. For one night, the town becomes something entirely different.

What your night at down & derby looks like
Gates open at 4PM and Los Trece begins its transformation into an open-air Texas dancehall, with live acoustic music, race draw cards, and food trucks opening at 5PM before all eyes turn to the big screens at 5:55PM for the live broadcast of “The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports.”
After the race, winners are announced, The Remedy takes the stage at 6PM, and the night builds toward intermission crowning moments — Best Dressed Couple, Best Hat, Best Bowtie, the Derby Duke & Duchess competition, & remarks from the owners — before the headliner closes out the dance floor at 9PM.

Down & Derby is an adults-only evening. All guests must be 21 or older with valid ID required at entry.
Bar operates on drink tickets
To keep lines short and service smooth, all bar purchases will be made with drink tickets. Tickets can be purchased throughout the evening at the check-in stand (Cash & Card Accepted) and redeemed at any of our bar stations.
While drinks are exchanged with tickets, our bartenders and servers are working hard to keep the evening flowing. Gratuities are sincerely appreciated and may be left at the bar stations or at the check-in stand. Multiple tipping options will be available for your convenience.

Join the betting pool with your Derby Dollars and receive a hand of numbered cards. Dice rolls move the horses down the track, and if you horse crosses the finish line first, you split the pot with the other winning card holders.
Place your Derby Dollars on Win, Place, Show or Trifecta before the race begins. When the Kentucky Derby concludes, payouts are awarded using fixed multipliers.
A good old-fashioned 40-yard dash — with a twist. Contestants suit up in inflatable jockey horse costumes and race down the main street of Los Trece for bonus Derby Dollars. Participants earn dollars for competing, with additional bonus dollars awarded to the fastest finishers in each heat.

Thirteen sealed prizes will be available inside the VIP tent — each labeled only by number. Guests will use their Derby Dollars to submit blind bids by writing their name and bid amount on a slip and placing it into the container of their chosen prize.
No one sees competing bids. No one knows what’s inside.
Prizes range from small surprises to high-value experiences, including items as simple as a branded koozie or as significant as a VIP table at a future Social Series event.
When bidding closes, containers are opened and the highest bid on each numbered prize wins.
Every VIP guest receives Derby Dollars upon arrival — your currency for competition, strategy, and exclusive prize access inside the private corral.
